Eye Makeup Makeovers

if you have... Small eyes

HOW-TO: To open tiny peepers, use light to medium shades of eyeshadow. Stay away from dark shadows which will confine the eyes and make them appear even smaller.

1. Prime eyes with base, then sweep a pale iridescent shade over the eyelid to brighten and enlarge your eyes. Shade along the outer half of the lid using a darker shade, then apply highlighter just under your brow arch.

2. Define the outer corner of your upper and lower lash lines with an eyeliner, extending the line outwards to add lift.

3. Apply two coats of lash-lengthening mascara. Curl lashes between coatings to open up your eyes.

if you have...Wide-set eyes

HOW-TO: To create the illusion of decreased width, use more intense eye color and a heavier hand on the inner corners of the eyes.

1. Prep eyes with a thin layer of foundation, then dust on a medium-toned color on the inner corner of your lid then blend outwards.

2. Use a slightly darker shade along the crease, depositing color on the inner corner, then blend outwards.

3. With an eyeliner, outline the inner corner of your lash line, then blend towards the outer end.

4. Apply lashings of mascara, making sure your inner lashes are coated with ample mascara.
